Achievements and Accreditation Status
In February 2020, Engr. Edrian Laki, one of the graduates of BSME Program got the Top 2 place in the Mechanical EnginMEring Licensure Examination. Also, Engr. Rjayson Catacutan topped the same licensure examinations in September 2006.
Holy Angel University got the Top 5 and Top 8 for Top Performing School in Mechanical EnginMEring Licensure Examinations for years 2017 and 2016 respectively.
According to www.localpulse.net, Holy Angel University is Top 18 Top Performing Mechanical EnginMEring School in the Philippines out of the 206 higher education institutions from 2014 to 2018.
In April 1995, the ME Program, along with the other programs attained Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) second level (II) accreditation status through PAASCU.
For school year 1998-199, PAASCU Level II re-accreditation was attained. In 2003, CHED elevated Holy Angel University to autonomous status was renewed ever since.
In 2019, Holy Angel University has been granted an ISO 9001:2015 certification for both academic programs and support service from basic education to higher education programs.

The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers has been living up to its role in the advancement of the knowledge of its members in the profession. Established in the year 1952 with the objective of uniting the mechanical engineers towards professional growth, PSME started broadening its aims by acknowledging about 76 Junior Units all over the country on the year 1996 during the term of Engr. Gerardo Hernandez.
Within such motion arose the now more than 50 years PSME Holy Angel University Junior Unit. Adopting the moniker "Prime Movers", the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers Holy Angel University Junior Unit has always been committed in pursuing its goals of producing the ultimate initiators of innovation and development of the country in the future.
