WHAT IS ETEEAP?

The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is a comprehensive educational assessment as an alternative learning system for higher education institutions per CHED CMO no. 29, series of 2021 and Republic Act No. 12124 with the Implementing Rules and Regulations outlined in CHED CMO no. 11, series of 2025.This equivalency and accreditation program grants credit units on prior learning obtained through formal, non-formal and informal learning using comprehensive competency standards and assessment tools guided by defined delivery framework. A college diploma is obtained after successfully completing the ETEEAP Program.

 

COURSES OFFERED

Holy Angel University is an ETEEAP Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) deputized to offer Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration with the following major tracks:

  • Business Administration
  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Legal Management
  • Marketing Management
 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ETEEAP CANDIDATES

  • The applicant must be a Filipino citizen.
  • The applicant must possess a high school diploma, or the PEPT/ALS A & E result stating “qualified to enter first year college”.
  • The applicant must have been employed for an aggregate of five (5) years in industry related to the academic degree program or discipline he is vying for.
  • The applicant must be at least 23 years old.
  • The applicant must be proficient in a branch of the discipline applied for.
 

DELIVERY PROCEDURES AND MODALITY

  1. The expected period of completion will be three (3) trimesters with an intervention period of one (1) trimester.

  2. Competency Enhancement Program (CEP) courses are delivered in an individualized approach via flexible learning options combining synchronous and asynchronous learning sessions using Canvas, the HAU Learning Management System.

  3. With academic consultation, progress and completion monitoring

  4. The process for equivalency and accreditation assessment will cover all evidence and artifacts collected from the following sources of prior knowledge and work experiences:
    • Formal learning – units acquired in an undergraduate program through credit transfer. Credit transfer refers to credit conversion established to promote student mobility by ensuring the units earned from different modalities and institutions are credited.
    • Non-formal learning – acquired through structured training program or short-term courses to learn certain knowledge or skills through seminars, workshops, certification courses, etc.
    • Informal learning – obtained through self-study, work experiences, personal and civic engagement and other activities.

  5. Assessment of prior learning is facilitated through the following:
    • Portfolio-based assessment
    • Competency demonstration (interviews, storytelling, task simulation, etc.)
    • Worksite visit

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

Download and accomplish the   Eligibility Self – Assessment Rubrics (ESAR) [download here].

Submit the accomplished ESAR with all the documentary requirements at eteeap@hau.edu.ph.Submission must be supported with Omnibus Sworn Statement on the Authenticity and Veracity of the documents.

Pay P2,450.00 for Eligibility Assessment Processing Fee (EAPF) (non-refundable) via online HAU payment channels or visit the Finance Office for onsite payment located at the 1st Floor of the Main Building. The Finance Office is open from Mondays – Fridays from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Assess eligibility for admission.The applicant will be notified via email on the results of the initial eligibility assessment within seven (7) working days upon receipt of the completed ESAR.

If eligible, proceed to Admissions Office for admission process following the procedures and requirements of incoming college freshmen students except for the College Entrance Test.Admissions procedures are available at the www.hau.edu.ph. Pay the admission fee of P 500.00.

Once Permit to Enroll is issued by the Admissions Office, proceed to enrolment following enrolment schedules for ETEEAP.
