March 16, 2026
Holy Angel University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management proudly announces the renewal of its accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA), earning another full seven (7) years of accreditation valid until 2032.
This recognition affirms that SHTM successfully met all nine (9) ACPHA accreditation standards, demonstrating excellence in areas such as curriculum quality, faculty qualifications, student learning outcomes, industry engagement, and continuous improvement.
The ACPHA is an international accrediting body based in the United States that evaluates hospitality administration programs to ensure they meet rigorous global standards of hospitality and tourism education. ACPHA accreditation signifies that a program delivers high-quality, industry-relevant education aligned with international best practices.
Notably, HAU–SHTM remains the first and only university in the Philippines to have been granted ACPHA accreditation, reinforcing its position as a leader in hospitality and tourism education in the country and the region.
This milestone reflects SHTM’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education that meets global standards, preparing students to become competent, ethical, and industry-ready professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector.
