At HAU-AVI, learning goes beyond simulation. Complementing our advanced ADF training systems is a fully operational Cessna 172 ground instructional aircraft, delivered to Holy Angel University on June 5, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. It provides students with the opportunity to transition from simulated exercises to hands-on aircraft maintenance.

 

Unlike a static display aircraft, HAU-AVI’s Cessna 172 has functional systems and a running engine, allowing students to perform practical maintenance activities, system inspections, servicing procedures, and operational checks under the supervision of qualified instructors. While fully operational for ground instruction, the aircraft is not classified as airworthy and is not intended for flight operations.

 

This progression from understanding aircraft systems through advanced simulation to applying those skills on an operational aircraft develops students’ technical competence and professional confidence before they enter the aviation maintenance industry.
