HAU-SHTM bags Culinary Accolades

Yet again, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management won multiple awards at the 15th Philippine Food Expo 2023! ????????????????????

SHTM Faculty Mr. Jose David and Culinary student Gwyneth M. Sanchez won 3rd place at the Kitchen Masters Culinary Challenge with their Asadong Manok with flair. ✨

Meanwhile, SHTM Faculty Dr. Janiel Mendoza and Culinary student John Vic R. Viloria deservingly won as Champions at the PINASarap Breakfast Culinary Challenge with their modernized Pindang Damulag and Babi that truly captivated the foreign culinary masters such as Chef Martin Bower. They also bagged the Food Caterers Association of the Philippines' 2023 FCAP Choice Award.

The 15th Philippine Food Expo was held on April 28 to 30 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. 38 academic institutions from around the Philippines competed for the culinary events and over 300 exhibitors offering kitchen & restaurant equipment, wholesale ingredients, food & beverage supplies, packaging & labelling, and more graced the Expo.
