Teacher Ed Receives CHED-EQUATE Award

The Teacher Education of the School of Education (SED) was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE), Secondary Level, last April 2 at the Manila Hotel.

The recognition is given by CHED to teacher education institutions that consistently uphold the highest standards in pre-service teacher education programs, following the CHED minimum standards, program accreditation, and outstanding performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

Out of the 179 Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) in Central Luzon, HAU was one of the recipients among the nine (9) TEIs in the region and one among the 120 TEIs nationwide, out of the 1,553 TEIs in the country.
