Since the establishment of Holy Angel University in 1933, it has always looked at the needs of the community in planning and pursuing goals that would best serve the people. In 2003, the clamor to open a new course became a reality when the HAU Board of Trustees decided to poem the College of Nursing. With the University's excellent record and high academic standard, the first year enrollees sowed to 700. Dr. Marietta H. Gaddi, with her vast experience in leading a nursing college in Central Luzon became the right choice to be the Dean, with the able assistance of Mr. Christopher D. Guarin and Mrs. Isabel Q. Guarin. The very first faculty members were Mrs. Rohilda M. Mallari and Mrs. Elvira D. Chan. Mr. and Mrs. Guarin were appointed as chairpersons. In 2006, more faculty members were hired to accommodate the first to third year students.
The College of Nursing has consistently gained above the national passing percentage in the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE). In 2007 and 2008, the College of Nursing was recognized to have the highest cumulative passing average in Central Luzon.
