School of Engineering and Architecture2022-2023COMMUNITY EXTENSION PROJECT FOR THE AETAS IN SITIO PIDPIDThe Architecture Department celebrated the National Architecture Week through a community outreach project in Sitio Pidpid in Porac. Day 2 was dedicated to the UAPSA-HAU and architecture faculty members' community outreach activities. The team visited the Aeta Community of Sitio Pidpid in Porac, Pampanga. Students gave artwork lessons and donated art supplies to the children. A small Christmas celebration was also held to lift the neighborhood's spirits. The architectural faculty also visited the site to investigate possible future community projects.
School of Computing2022-2023HAUISAWAREHAUisAware is a comprehensive cybersecurity and data privacy awareness program offered by the School of Computing since 2018. Its primary objective is to educate individuals on the importance of protecting their personal and professional information against cyber threats and privacy breaches. Through a range of interactive and engaging learning modules, HAUisAware covers various topics such as password security, phishing scams, malware, social engineering, and data protection regulations. By promoting a culture of security awareness, HAUisAware aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safeguard themselves and their organizations from potential cyber attacks.
School of Hospitality and Tourism Management2022-2023OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND THE WORLD: WEBINAR SERIESIn 2021 and 2022, SHTM held webinars that were given free and open to the public. The objective was to provide free access to quality education for the advancement of the hospitality and tourism industry, and to promote the welfare of those working in the industry. The webinars also invited guest speakers who shared their learning and occupational experiences during the pandemic. The webinars in the series were titled "Opportunities Beyond the World", "A Holistic Approach to Mental Health During the Pandemic", "Listen, Learn and Adapt", "The Promise of Philippine Tourism in the Better Normal", "Inter-Virtual: Acing Virtual Interviews in the New Normal", and the latest one was a social entrepreneur awareness titled, "A Delightful Pot of Kapangpangan's Love".
School of Computing2022-2023PARTNERSHIPS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT, PARTICIPATING IN CYBERKWENTUHAN ABOUT BULLYING, CYBERSEX, SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION, AND A LOT MORECyberguardians are individuals who take an active role in protecting their organizations and communities against cyber threats. They possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity and are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and mitigate cyber risks. The rise of cybercrime in recent years has highlighted the critical need for cyberguardians to combat these threats. To address this issue, various initiatives have been established to promote cybersecurity awareness and provide training to individuals interested in becoming cyberguardians. One such initiative is the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) in the Philippines. The CICC is a government agency tasked with coordinating efforts to combat cybercrime in the country. It provides training programs for law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, and judges to enhance their understanding of cybercrime and improve their capacity to investigate and prosecute cybercriminals. Additionally, the CICC collaborates with private sector organizations to raise awareness of cyber threats and promote best practices in cybersecurity. Through initiatives like the CICC, individuals can become cyberguardians and contribute to the fight against cybercrime, ensuring a safer and more secure digital environment for all.

College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics2022-20233RD FORENSIC SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL LECTURE SERIESThe College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) successfully hosted the opening session of the 3rd Forensic Science International Lecture Series with the theme "Meliora: Over and Beyond the Forensic Science Horizon,” which was held last September 16, 2022, via Zoom and Facebook Live. The event was attended by different educators and students in the criminology and forensic science in the country.

H@UweConnect addresses the connectivity needs of students through providing three services that include Share-a-Load or internet load allowance; Share-a-Device or donation of gadgets like computers, laptops, cellphones, or tablets, and Share-a-Net or provision of Wi-Fi. In Their Shoes which is a means of empathizing in three ways in one has three major services: Bread of Angels, Sole Mate, and A Walk with an Angel. Bread of Angels offers a community pantry and soup kitchen for HAU students; Sole Mates taps the HAU community members to donate new shoes to

Gaddi Lecture Series, scheduled for April 23, 2025, is a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program aimed at enriching the understanding of Filipino nurses on culturally responsive patient care. With the theme "Demystifying Nursing Situation as Caring Moment: A Filipino Value-Grounded Theory in Nursing," this lecture seeks to bridge the gap between Western-influenced nursing models and the rich cultural values that define Filipino caring. It will explore indigenous concepts such as Kapwa (shared identity) and Kaginhawaan (well-being) and their application in nursing practice, fostering a holistic and culturally attuned approach to patient care. By critically examining the historical influences of colonization on Philippine nursing and introducing a value-grounded perspective, this event will empower nurses to move beyond standardized care models and integrate Filipino-centered principles into their profession. Through this initiative, nurses will be better equipped to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that resonates with the values, needs, and lived experiences of the Filipino people.

The objective of the international immersion program is to upskill and update faculty members on the current industry trends,
