The School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (SNAMS) convened its Program Advisory Council on November 23, 2021, to discuss with stakeholders the initiatives undertaken to address the challenges brought about by the pandemic. The proposed transition-to-practice program for the graduating students was presented to solicit the inputs of industry partners. This program addresses the need of the students to acquire the most essential skills for beginning professional practice and the need of the industry to fill in the gap in the human resources for health.
Furthermore, this 5th PAC convening became the avenue for disseminating the proceedings of the graduate curriculum development. This completed the cycle because the curriculum review was initiated during the 4th PAC convening and proceeded thereafter. As part of the continuous quality improvement, an initial evaluation of the graduate programs’ outcomes was presented to stakeholders.
