School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (SNAMS) Dean and Professor Dr. Al D. Biag and Assistant Professor & Nursing Program Chair Noriel Calaguas, MSHSA, RN., presented in the recently concluded Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing’s (ACEN’s) 2021 Nursing Education Accreditation Conference (NEAC), held virtually from July 12 to July 16, 2021.
The said event was attended by participants all over the world, and HAU-SNAMS was the only nursing school in the Philippines who was able to present their instructional innovations to the international and professional audience.
The professors presented both in oral and poster categories. Their poster presentation entitled, “By-phasic Psychomotor Clinical Skills Development: A Model for Pandemic-Challenged Clinical Teaching in Nursing” premiered last July 12, while the oral presentation, “Providing Context to Online Nursing Education through Unfolding Case Studies,” aired last July 14.
"We are grateful for the opportunity awarded to us by the scientific committee, to share what we do and how we do it in Holy Angel University-School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences," said Mr. Calaguas.
