November 18, during the launching of the first ever Philippine Startup Week, Encephalon, the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of Holy Angel University had a jam-packed event as their incubatees had the ceremonial signing of the forged partnership with HAU at the executive lounge of the University’s San Francisco De Javier Building.
HAU was represented by University President Dr. Luis Maria R. Calingo while the representatives of different incubatees were: Mr. Bari Silvestre, CEO of Keybol Games; Engr. Chris Gamulo, CEO of CBG Enterprise; and Mr. Geoffrey Manlapaz and Mr. Maike Gatbonton, creators of PAPA.PH. Pure-niture, which was a DOST funded research project and now a spin-off startup, was also present and represented by TBI Manager Engr. Melani Cabrera. These four startups already attained Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 9, the highest grade for the TRL.
Engr. Edzel Galguerra, CEO of DOMO, Ms. Abigail Manual of Bayong.ph, Dr. Jaypee Pajarillaga of Woody’s and Engr. Wilfredo Infante of Bulbs and Chips were also present during the ceremonial signing.
