Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag, CHED Commissioner, delivered a lecture-forum on the need to shape transnational education in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution for sustainable development.
The 4th Industrial Revolution, known as 4IR, is the current and developing environment on technologies and trends like the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, robotics, virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI).
Dr. Darilag emphasized on the career and life skills to prepare students for success under a digital and technological economy: flexibility and adaptability; initiative and self-direction; social and cross-cultural; productivity and accountability; and leadership and responsibility.
The professors and students from the Graduate School of Education with select Teacher Education students participated in the activity.
