The basic training workshop hosted by USAID STRIDE and the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) on Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) was attended by Holy Angel University's Encephalon representatives ITSO Officer Engr. Gina S. Tumang and Associate Project Developer of Encephalon, Engr. Calvin Karl R. Garganta.
The three-day training-workshop, held on June 19-22 at Fairmont, Makati City, discussed the KTTO basics, planning and organizing, and the importance of technology transfer and protection.
Among the 40 initial applicants for the training, HAU was one of the 20 qualified organizations to join the conference.
The event was also attended by different by DOST Councils, State and Private Universities, and Incubators around the Philippines.
“Encephalon” is HAU’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI) offering assistance to technopreneurs with business concepts from idea to commercialization.
