Holy Angel University's College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) recently received a recognition from the Cisco Networking Academy as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Cybersecurity Specialist for the year 2019.
In an email sent by Cisco to CICT Dean Dr. Francisco Napalit, HAU-CICT was given the recognition for "achieving excellence in teaching a curriculum." The Cisco Networking Academy program uses rigorous process to select institutions for the award based on student feedback scores and student performance. The certificate awarded to CICT was signed by Omar Shaban, Cisco Networking Academy’s Director of Global Operations.
CCNA is an information technology certification from Cisco Systems, which is an associate-level Cisco Career certification. Cisco Systems Inc. is an American computer networking company that develops, manufactures, and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products.
