The First Year Experience 2 (FYE2) course gathered some successful Kapampangan personalities in a forum last February 20, 2019. The lecture was divided into three-sessions to accommodate all first year Big History students.
The speakers include; Ms. Novia Zapata, a visual artist; Ms. Jesusa Yabut of Susie’s Cuisine; Ms. Edwina Arceo of Proverbsville; Mr. Daryl Malonzo, a psychologist from Colegio de Sebastian and Mr. Prudencio Garcia, the President of Mekeni Foods Corporation.
HAU-based speakers include Chef Amel Jocson, Mr. Antonio Magat, Ms. Charlene Manese and Mr. Arnel Garcia.
The discussions strengthened the objectives of FYE2 to blend the liberal arts concepts to the professional courses of various program offerings in the university.
Topics covered comprised business, arts and visuals, mental health, Kapampangan cuisine, church heritage and the roles of passion and purpose on future careers.
The seminar caps off the lecture series of Big History for this academic year.
