HAU Relief Operations for Flood Victims (Second Leg)

Through the generous donations of the HAU community, OCES was able to serve three hundred (300) more families affected by flooding in San Isidro, Minalin, Pampanga during the second leg of the university’s relief operations held on August 29, 2012.

Distribution of relief packages among the beneficiaries was participated in by another set of NTP and faculty volunteers from the High School Department, Christian Living Education Department (CLE) and the College of Arts and Sciences and Education (CASEd) together with the OCES OIC and staff.

The volunteers prepared and facilitated some parlor games which the kids really enjoyed. Treats of assorted goodies awaited the winners. A free bazaar of donated clothing was also opened during the day for the residents of San Isidro.

At the end of the event, beneficiaries and volunteers alike went home happy to have had such a meaningful day.
