HAU Among Top Performing Schools in NLE

The Angelos , Batch ’09 of the College of Nursing obtained 70% passing rate in the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) given in June. This performance has ranked Holy Angel University 20th among performing schools with more than one hundred examinees. From the first batch in 2007, the Primus at 63% passing rate to the Jubilaeus, Batch 2008 at 84%, which made HAU 11th place nationwide, and the recent Angelos Batch ’09 at 72% making our university at 20th place nationwide among schools with more than one hundred examinees, the performance of HAU’s graduates in the College of Nursing has truly placed the university among the best schools in the country. In the past three years, the average passing rate of HAU-CON graduates has always been way above the national passing rate.

The Professional Regulation Commission(PRC) announced that 32, 617 out of 77, 901 successfully passed the June 2009 NLE leaving a 41.9% national passing rate. The Angelos ’09 batch garnered 72% (316 out of 439) passing rate, with over-all rating of 70% including those who retook the board exam. An examinee from Felipe R. Vellaro Memorial Foundation in Cebu ranked 1st with an average of 86%, and St. Paul’s University in Dumaguete ranked 1st among top performing schools (with more than 100 examinees) with 100% passing rate.
