Living Rosary, UN Celebrated

LES held two activities in one day – The Living Rosary and The United Nations’ celebration at the HAU Gymnasium on October 23, 2009.

Selected pupils acted as the beads in the Rosary. There was a role play for every mystery performed by the LES Performing Arts. After praying each mystery, each grade level offered canned goods, noodles or biscuits instead of flowers to the image of Mama Mary. These were served as donations as well to the typhoon victims. Prayers of petitions were also read after each mystery of the Rosary.

The United Nations’ celebration also coincided with this event. The pupils in the Rosary wore sashes representing the countries’ flags to celebrate the United Nations.
