HAU Employees reach out to Pampanga and Angeles City Frontliners

In solidarity with the frontliners and other members of the workforce who deliver essential services amidst the global battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, Holy Angel University and its employees, including other members of the university community, shared blessings on April 2, 2020 to the first batch of recipients of different forms of relief assistance. Essential and available sanitary items and energy boosting food and drinks were distributed through the University's Community Extension Services unit among Pampanga and Angeles City hospitals catering to COVID-19-related medical needs of the community such as the Jose Songco Lapid District Hospital in Porac, the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital in Guagua, the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, and the Philippine Rehabilitation Institute Medical Center as well as the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (Ospital ning Angeles) which are both in Angeles City. The University has likewise been extending assistance to medical frontliners serving The Medical City in Clarkfield in the form of free daily transport service via one of its school buses.

Also among the outreach beneficiaries were uniformed men and Local Government Units personnel who are manning the check points as well as homeless families and individuals within Angeles City. Still part of its outreach, the University extended assistance to its outsourced security, maintenance, general services, and casual personnel.
