Character Formation and Team Building Activities held for HAU Student Ambassadors

A day-long character formation and team building activity was organized for the members of the Holy Angel University Council of School Ambassadors on October 29, 2019 at PGN 411.

The character formation program, dubbed "The Call of the Angelite" was facilitated by Ms. Mayumi Wada, an invited psycho-spiritual speaker who started the session through an interpretative song about doing one's best with the things they do called "I'll do my best". This was followed by a leadership talk, discussion of the Angelite Charisms and the roles of the student ambassadors as "Angel-Messengers". Ms. Wada lectured about what it means to be Christ-Centered, as well as the charisms of the three Archangels that stand for Servant Leadership, Integrity, and Wellness, and the supporting charisms of four other angels, representing Hope, Prayerfulness, Justice, and Social Responsibility. A meditation and reflection of the talked concluded the session where the students openly shared their insights and experiences related to the discussions.

The afternoon session featured the teambuilding activity on the campus grounds, resembling an Amazing Race-type competition where members were split into four teams requiring them to accomplish easy to challenging-level tasks using the clues given to them.

An awarding of the winners and a special recognition of top performers concluded the program.

The HAU Council of School Ambassadors fosters a group of volunteer students who support the thrusts of the Marketing Office by delivering talks to feeder school marketing campaigns, introducing the University to potential enrollees and sharing their personal experiences as Angelites.
