HAU co-organizes 54th PGCA Conference

The Philippine Guidance and Counselling Association (PGCA), Inc., in partnership with Holy Angel University organized the 54th National Midyear conference with the theme “Respecting Diversity, Inclusiveness and Social Justice” on October 18-19, 2018 at the University’s PGN Auditorium.

Attended by more than four hundred guidance counselors, psychologists, psychometricians and teachers from all over the country, the two-day conference featured plenary sessions on its first day, and workshops on the second day—both facilitated by experts in the field of guidance, counseling and psychology. AB Communication Program and Department of Languages Chair Ms. Leslie Manalo was the co-emcee during the plenary sessions.

Some of the delegates were also toured to popular Kapampangan churches and museums on October 17 facilitated by Mr. Philip Joseph Sarmiento, Chair of the Christian Living Education Department.

The delegates’ fellowship night during the first day featured song numbers from the HAU String Ensemble and a fourth year BS Psychology student, Hikaru Gabiola.

Ms. Norma Bulaclac, Guidance Head, also presented HAU’s “No Student Left Behind” campaign in one of the plenary sessions which was warmly applauded and appreciated by the participants.
