SHTM holds ‘Program Advisory Council’ meeting

As one of the largest industries in the world in economic contributions, the hospitality and tourism industry remains a consistent priority for many countries. The direct economic impact of the industry especially in terms of accommodation, transportation, entertainment and attractions has made it an in-demand choice for local and international employment. Due to this continuous growth, the need of producing top caliber graduates thru the development of industry competitive programs was highlighted last September 5, 2018 when the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) held the Program Advisory Council (PAC) Consultation at the Café Juan.

In line with the school’s thrust in offering industry-relevant programs, the PAC’s main objective is to present expert views and independent advice on the programs of the school, particularly the content of the curricula and the quality of graduates that the school produces. The PAC meeting was attended by the following stakeholders: industry leaders in the hospitality and tourism profession, government agencies, alumni, and faculty members of Holy Angel University.
