CCJEF studes bag awards in 5th Nat'l Criminology Student Congress

Holy Angel University's College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) students were victorious during the 5th National Criminology Student Congress held at Naga College Foundation, Naga City, Camarines Sur last September 27-29, 2018. The theme of the conference is "Our Criminology Course Today... Our Criminology Profession Tomorrow."

Senior student Christine Trizha Laguda was hailed one of the Top 10 Most Outstanding Criminology Students of the Philippines 2018 and was named Ms. Sociology 2018.

2nd place winners for the Oxford-Oregon Debate Contest were Ayranne Gale Tolentino, Blessie Ramos, and Derrick Salamatin. Tolentino was also awarded 1st Place Best Presenter.

On the other hand, the Quiz Bee covering the subject “Criminalistics and Criminal Law & Jurisprudence” hailed two team winners from HAU namely, Laguda and Austen Jane Policarpio; and Tolentino and Ramos with 4th place and 5th place, respectively.

CCJEF Dean Niño M. Kabiling congratulates the CCJEF team for the accolades and said, "Our main objective in joining this Student Congress is to provide a great platform to showcase the knowledge and skills of our Criminology students that they have accumulated over the years. This student congress enriches our students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills. The team commitment, eagerness and knowledge are extremely inspiring. They put forth a valiant effort as a team and proven by their actual abilities and possibilities by this achievement and they made the University proud."
