The School of Business and Accountancy (SBA) headed by its new dean, Dr. Caroline M. Acosta, participated in a recollection held at Room 310, Peter G. Nepomuceno Building last Friday, June 02. The event was attended by the faculty members of the management and accountancy departments from SBA.

Gracing the event was Rev. Fr. Roger Yambao, as the recollection master and mass celebrator.

The spiritual talk focused on the foundations of life, teaching as a form of discipleship, and the role of the Holy Spirit in teaching. The participants were also reminded of the thought that teaching, as a form of discipleship, is a calling (or vocation). Answering to the call requires a cost or a sacrifice. Lastly, in order to be triumphant in obeying such calling, one must also have the right motive, freedom, and hierarchy of values.

Wrapping up the event, a mass was celebrated later in the afternoon where the participants were then given the chance to reflect on the worth pondering activity held that day.
