HAU-CLE Students Join HRP’s Prayer Walk for Life

Selected students from Christian Living Education classes joined the Prayer Walk for Life, organized by the Holy Rosary Parish (HRP) through the leadership of the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Dizon, V.G., on February 10, 2017.

The walk commenced at 5:00 p.m. with the participants converging from three assembly points leading towards HRP where a Holy Mass was celebrated at 5:30 p.m. The end of the Mass marked the beginning of the Prayer Walk around the metropolis. In culmination to the event, a program was staged in front of the Plaza Anghel facing HRP’s facade where tarpaulins bearing the statements: "Yes to Life" and "No to Killings" were unveiled. The image of the Holy Guardian Angel was also included in the procession.

This activity was just the advent of a series of programs in response to the call of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) to stand against death penalty and extra-judicial killings which destroy the dignity of life.

The participation of Holy Angel University in the said event signifies that, as a Catholic learning institution, HAU supports and values the dignity of life.
