More than fifty industry partners from various sectors attended School of Business and Accountancy's Second Program Advisory Council and Memorandum of Agreement signing on January 17 held at Case Room 3 of Peter G. Nepomuceno Center for Professional Development Building with the theme "Catalyst for Business Educational Leadership in Central Luzon and Beyond". The event served as a perfect venue for SBA Administrators, faculty and students to meet with the industry partners and to discuss on how SBA and the Graduate School of Business can further improve the quality and relevance of their curricular offerings.

Dr. Alma S. Espartinez warmly welcomed the participants which included highlights on the most recent accreditation and achievements of SBA. This was followed by the strategic goals and objectives as the main thrusts of the University delivered by Ms. Edna Marriza C. Santos, Assistant to the President, on behalf of HAU President Dr. Luis Maria R. Calingo.

The program offerings, objectives and curricula of SBA were presented by the Accountancy Program Chairperson Dr. Albert G. Morales, Management Program Chairperson Mr. Rio G. Yutuc, and Graduate School of Business Program Coordinator Dr. Caroline M. Acosta while SBA Dean Dr. Joan Reyes provided updates on the recommendations during the 1st Program Advisory Council held in July of last year. The industry partners gave meaningful feedbacks on SBA’s on-the-job trainees, students, and alumni, which will be used as inputs to match the needs of the industry linkages.

As a culmination to the event, VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Alma S. Espartinez, and Dr. Joan C. Reyes, together with the industry partners officially signed on the Memorandum of Agreement and Letter of Commitment forging partnership and strengthening ties for both parties.
