HAU book project on former scholars

The University is undertaking a book project to collect all inspiring life stories Of former students of Holy Angel who have benefitted from any of the University’s various scholarship programs, and immortalize them in a publication.

The call to submit stories has been sounded by Ms. Ma. Teresa Fajardo, head of the University’s Scholarships and Grants Office. She said she is looking forward to collect stories from former working students (office aides), athletes, president’s and dean’s listers, members of the choir, rondalla and band, and recipients of the University’s numerous scholarships and grants.

"The University has had scholars right from Day One of its 82-year-old history, back in 1933," Ms. Fajardo says. "Their lives have been enriched by the experiences and education they got from HAU and to some extent they owe their success in their personal and professional lives to their alma mater."

"They can serve as inspiration to all of us today, especially to other students and scholars," Ms. Fajardo adds.

If you are a former scholar or if you know anyone who is, please contact Ms. Fajardo at or 0906 178 1812.
