For the Holy Angel College (now Holy Angel University) students in the 1960s, the name Wedelfredo Tecson Villareyes, or Jing or Jinggoy as he is fondly called, is an Angelite's pride. He was a former versatile, hustling basketball player (5'5") of Holy Angel's high school Wildkittens basketball team. He was the "Most Promising Basketball Player" during his high school days.

HAU HS Class of ’64 (Astronauts) celebrates 55th Reunion

The Holy Angel University High School Class of 1964 celebrated their 55th Emerald Anniversary with a homecoming and reunion on February 9, 2019 at Plaza San Jose, DJDN Building formerly the Main Building.The high school batch, also known as the Astronauts, started the celebration with a Thanksgiving Mass at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angel. Right after the mass, the batch had some pleasantries at the DJDN lobby while being serenaded by HAU Rondalla.
