HAU launches Technology Business Incubator Encephalon

Despite the nationwide transport strike, Encephalon, the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of Holy Angel University was officially introduced during its grand launching entitled “PamiHAUbe Abe: PH Startup Ecosystem – Beyond Expectations” last September 30 at the HAU Theater. The event was attended by different government institutions, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and corporations and universities in Pampanga. HAU administrators, faculty and students also showed their support during the activation despite the unavailability of public utility jeepneys.

HAU receives posthumous scholarship donation from FOHAUI

Holy Angel University (HAU) recently received a donation from the US-based Friends of Holy Angel University, Inc. (FOHAUI), from the proceeds of Javier Nepomuceno’s posthumous donation amounting to P10 million intended for the University’s scholarship program. The donation, made by Nepomuceno’s daughter Moraya Khan after his demise, was formally received by HAU President Dr. Luis Maria Calingo from Maria Socorro Wijangco-De Vera, FOHAUI's Secretary Treasurer.

President's Message on the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels

Today, we celebrate the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels, the Patron of Holy Angel University. Tomorrow, we take time off in reflection and to spend time with oiur loved ones. A few days ago, we honored the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Although believers often perceive the Guardian Angels to be at the bottom of the hierarchy of celestial beings God created, our Guardian Angels are no less glorious and magnificent than the host of other celestial beings. In the Scriptures, the most direct reference to our Guardian Angels is provided in Psalm 91, which reads: “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone” (Psalm 91:11-12).

HAU Enactus Team wins accolade in BIDA 2019

The Enactus Team of Holy Angel University won 2nd Runner-Up in the Non-Food Category of the 13th Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA) 2019, held on September 27 at the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Headquarters, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The winning team presented the project entitled "Waste EMPOWER Pampanga," a business idea for micro-production of Processed Engineered Fuel in the City of San Fernando. Among the several schools who submitted their business proposals, all HAU entries were selected as National Finalists in four categories: Non-Food, Food, Service and Technology

PSME-HAU Unit bags awards in Mekanika Technocon 2019

Two major awards were won by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - Holy Angel University (PSME-HAU) Unit during the 3rd Quarter Mekanika Technocon 2019 held on September 28 at The Plaza Hotel, Balanga City, Bataan. These awards were: Quiz Bee Competition Champion for the HAU Team A composed of Aileen Calma, Edrian Laki, and Donnel John Lobo; and 2nd Runner Up for the HAU Team B, composed of Trina Sevilla, Robert Soriano, and Joshua Tiangco.

DOST Executive Committee visits HAU

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) National Executive Council visited Holy Angel University last September 14, 2019 after their Policy and Planning Workshop held at Balanga, Bataan. HAU was chosen by DOST as one of the institutions to be visited in Pampanga because of the following reasons: HAU has various Research and Development projects funded by the Agency; HAU being a host of DOST’s Balik Scientist Program; and the establishment of the Encephalon, HAU’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI).
