HAU and CCA-Manila ink MOU for Culinary program collaboration

Holy Angel University (HAU) and the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA) - Manila signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the collaborative offering and the curricular and syllabi development for the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Hospitality Management with concentration in Culinary Arts and BS International Gastronomy programs. The MOU signing was led by HAU President Dr. Luis Maria Calingo, HAU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Alma Espartinez, CCA Chancellor for Education Dr. Ma. Veritas Luna, and The Cravings Group CEO Marinela G. Trinidad on July 15, 2019 at HAU in Angeles City, Pampanga.

CICT students named TwsitResources ‘Top Interns’

College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) students Julius De Leon, Ola Olsen, Ariane Nulud, and Joemel Bituin were among the seven top interns of the Summer Internship Program Batch 2018 recently announced by Twist Resources, a web development company in Clark Freeport specializing in high capacity web and mobile business solutions via ToolTwist Technology. In effect, these four students now hold the coveted entry-level positions in TwistResources as Software Engineers.

The annual HAU Mission Day features employee immersions in selected communities where representatives from colleges and departments assists in the facilitation of games, storybook reading, food distribution, hygiene sessions for children, and gift giving.

HAU bags PMAP’s 2019 Employer of The Year for Luzon

Holy Angel University (HAU) was given the most coveted award by organizations in the Luzon Region – the 2019 Employer of the Year Award (EOY) by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), during the 2nd PMAP Luzon Regional Awards Ceremony, as part of the 13th PMAP Luzon Summit, held at the Vista Taal Hotel in Tagaytay City on May 2, 2019. HAU was among the 67 nominated organizations that vied for the prestigious EOY recognition in Luzon. From 67, a total of 25 organizations were shortlisted for site visits, which trimmed the list down to five nominees. Finally, HAU was among the two announced finalists for the EOY Award for Luzon.
