Holy Angel University Alumni under the BS Psychology program Christian Khiel Unto and Patricia Anne Sotto presented their paper entitled “Parental Attachment, Teacher Attachment and Attachment to God of Adolescents with Broken Families” in the IXth International Conference on Business, Economics, Law, Language & Psychology (ICBELLP) held in The National University of Singapore Society, Suntec City Guild House, Singapore last June 27-28, 2019.

Christine Trizha Laguda, HAU’s graduate from the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) and Kimberly Macuto, from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) were hailed regional winners of the 58th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) during the TOSP Region III Awarding Ceremony on July 22, 2019 at the Aquino Center, Luisita, Tarlac City.

Two conferences simultaneously held in the university were spearheaded by Graduate School students of the Professional Science Master’s in Cybersecurity program on July 13, 2019. Speakers from Holy Angel University and National Privacy Commission (NPC) joined hands in making an informative conference that will teach the non-teaching employees and faculty members on how to be resilient in the disrupting digital world.

All 17 Holy Angel University graduates under the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree recently passed the July 2019 Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CLSSYB) Online Certification Examination. Two of them successfully landed Top 2 and 5, namely Lourdgem Dimitui and Blanche Domingo, respectively. The total number of examinees is 138.

Over 650 graduating students from different schools and colleges of Holy Angel University participated in the first Encehalon’s caravan entitled "PicabalHAUan: Yours or Mine?", a forum on claiming ideas last July 10, 2019 at the university's PGN Auditorium. Several partner institutions were invited to discuss Technopreneurship, Startup Ventures and Prior Art Search. Encephalon also took the time to promote their facility, incubation program and services offered ready to cater students, alumni and faculty researches of the university.

The basic training workshop hosted by USAID STRIDE and the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) on Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) was attended by Holy Angel University's Encephalon representatives ITSO Officer Engr. Gina S. Tumang and Associate Project Developer of Encephalon, Engr. Calvin Karl R. Garganta.

The team behind Encephalon, Holy Angel University's Technology Business Incubator (TBI) partake in the Ignite Conference 2019 held on July 23-25 at Shangri-la, Makati. Among the several incubate applicants, Pure-niture, an incubatee of Encephalon HAU-TBI, was selected to be one of the few startups sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD).

HAU’s official university publication on July 12, 2019 at the SFJ Multipurpose Hall and SFJ AVRs. Organized by the Office of Student Services and Affairs, the program’s objective is to provide support to university’s student journalists through lectures on writing news, features, column, editorial, editorial cartooning, photojournalism, preparing financial statement, and empower them to address issues on campus paper management. Topics were divided into simultaneous breakout sessions delivered by each resource speaker.
