Rizal College of Taal, Batangas Explores Excellence at CCJEF

In a bid to enhance its academic offerings and elevate its laboratories, Rizal College of Taal, Batangas, recently undertook a benchmarking activity at Holy Angel University's College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (HAU-CCJEF) last November 21, 2023. The primary focus was to explore best practices and examine the state-of-the-art forensics laboratories that have positioned HAU-CCJEF as a trailblazer in the field.
The delegation from Rizal College of Taal, led by Vice President Mr. Hector Lota, Mr. Leonilo P. Andal, HR Manager/Executive Secretary, and Dr. Cecilio Catillo, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education. The leadership and staff of HAU-CCJEF, led by Dean Dr. Niño M. Kabiling, warmly welcomed the delegates. The visit included comprehensive tours of the HAU-CCJEF, allowing the Rizal College team to observe firsthand the innovative teaching methodologies, curricular innovations, and advanced laboratory setups.
One of the key areas of interest for the Rizal College team was the state-of-the-art forensics laboratory at HAU-CCJEF. The delegation was impressed by the advanced equipment and technology used in the laboratory, which showcased the university's commitment to providing students with a hands-on and immersive learning experience. Discussions were held on how such facilities and equipment contribute to the practical skill development of students and the impact on their future careers in the criminal justice and forensics fields.
As both institutions look forward to potential future collaborations, the benchmarking activity stands as a testament to the importance of knowledge sharing and collaboration in the academic community, with the ultimate goal of raising the standards of criminal justice and forensics education.
