August 19, 2022

The faculty members of the Architecture Department and Team Limang Siglo held its 4th Digital scanning activity last August 12, 2022. This is the third heritage church from Pampanga that was documented by the groups using the sophisticated 3D Leica Geosystems Laser Scanner. The scanner was acquired primarily to serve the community with the aim to document Architectural heritage structures.
The Santa Catalina de Alejandria Church (Arayat Church) is Renaissance-style architectural masterpiece that was built in 1753. Since its initial construction, the church has undergone major renovations and rehabilitations, which includes additional decorative architectural ornaments and re-painting works.
The Architecture Department would like to extend its appreciation to Rev. Msgr. Eugenio G. Reyes, ACCH-Pampanga, Rev. Fr. Mark G. Manabat, Parish Pastoral Council and the Parishioners of Sta. Catalina de Alexandria Parish, Arayat, Pampanga.
