CCJEF Hosts Central Bicol State University for Benchmarking Visit

Central Bicol State University (CBSU) embarked on a benchmarking visit to the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) to bolters its academic program held last April 30, 2024. The visit focused on enhancing Instruction, Research, and Community Extension Programs, and it also unveiled plans to offer a Bachelor of Forensic Science degree at CBSU.

Representatives from CBSU, led by its CCJE Dean, Dr. Dionesia R. Beraña, were warmly received at the university. The purpose of the visit was twofold: to gain insights into best practices in academia, research, and community engagement and to explore the feasibility of incorporating a Forensic Science program into CBSU's academic program.

During the visit, officials from CBSU had the opportunity to observe CCJEF's innovative teaching methodologies, state-of-the-art laboratories, and impactful community extension initiatives. A highlight of the tour was the exploration of CCJEF's cutting-edge laboratories, equipped with advanced forensic technology and instrumentation. 

In addition to the laboratory tour, the dean of CCJEF, Dr. Niño M. Kabiling, delivered a presentation outlining the CCJEF best practices in instruction, research, and community extension. Dr. Kabiling highlighted CCJEF's commitment to excellence in criminal justice education and its dedication to producing highly skilled professionals capable of making significant contributions to the criminal justice field.
