The University has officially been welcomed into the global Uniservitate network. This esteemed international organization promotes Service-Learning (SL) within Catholic Higher Education Institutions (CHEIs) to drive systemic change and foster agents of social transformation. HAU's successful bid to join this international consortium is a testament to its commitment to integral education and distinguished SL projects.

Uniservitate, a beacon for institutions worldwide, aims to institutionalize SL to actualize the mission of CHEIs — the development of well-rounded individuals dedicated to social betterment in line with the Church's social teachings. HAU's entry into this network marks a significant step forward in its mission to integrate community engagement deeply into its educational ethos.

HAU's application was notably strengthened by its robust portfolio of SL initiatives that have made measurable impacts within the community. The University's long-standing dedication to service and academic excellence was highlighted as a critical factor in its selection, demonstrating HAU's role as an exemplar of service learning. As a member of the Uniservitate network, HAU will enjoy numerous benefits, including joining a worldwide learning community of SL practitioners and researchers, access to specialized training resources, and participation in the prestigious Uniservitate Award and the call for Small Research Grants. This membership will further HAU's reach through exclusive global and regional meetings and collaborations with CHEI authorities and community engagement leaders.
