DOST – ACU TAPI shoots AV Production for HAU Foam Shredder Technology

The Department of Science and Technology – Applied Communications Unity Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST – ACU TAPI) visited Holy Angel University last March 19, 2019 for the Audio Video Production shoot of the Foam Shredder Technology. The Foam Shredder Project is a PHP 2.5M DOST funded project entitled “Prototype Development of Low-Cost Semi-Automated Foam Shredder Equipment” which is now on its final stretch of development and testing before commercialization.
As part of DOST – ACU TAPI’s assistance in the areas of marketing and advertising, the Audio Video Production shoot was conducted at Holy Angel University’s School of Engineering and Architecture building, the area where the Foam Shredder Technology was fabricated. The HAU Foam Shredder Project Leader, Engr. Melani Cabrera, Project Support Staff Level 3, Dr. Jaypee Pajarillaga, Mr. Jay Miranda, owner of Novelita’s Furniture and Mr. Peter Pineda, from Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation (PFIF) were interviewed regarding the furniture industry in Pampanga, the machine’s social impact and market potential. The Audio Video Production will be officially used by DOST – ACU TAPI during technology road shows and will be posted on social media and official web pages.
The Foam Shredder team is composed of Engr. Melani Cabrera, Dr. Jaypee Pajarillaga, Engr. Wilfredo Infante, Engr. R-Jay Quiambao, Engr. Ariel Cabildo, Engr. Kimberly Hazel Serrano and Engr. Calvin Karl Garganta.
