CICT students awarded 'Best Paper' in 5th Regional ICT Research Colloquium

College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) students bagged the "Best Paper" recognition for their research entitled "A Silent Voice: An Application of Computer Vision for Recognizing Filipino Sign Languages” during the 5th Regional ICT Research Colloquium held on March 8, 2019 at Systems Plus College Foundation, Angeles City.

The team was composed of four BS Computer Science students namely John Joshua Jimenez, Julius De Leon, Jericho Hans Diaz, and Ola Olsen. This year's Research Colloquium event was themed "Strengthening ICT research through collaboration and mentoring".
