College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics
February 23, 2026
The College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) warmly welcomed two forensic science exchange students from India, reaffirming its commitment to global academic collaboration and advancing forensic education.
Mr. Ashish Yadav and Ms. Mishti Sachdeva of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur University (SGTU) will spend one month at the university, where the CCJEF will host them for an intensive, hands-on training program. Their immersion will focus on Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Photography, Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, and DNA Analysis, areas that blend scientific rigor with real-world application.
The program officially began on February 23, 2026, with a guided tour of the university and an introduction to CCJEF’s forensic science laboratory and learning environment. The Office of International Affairs later hosted a welcome lunch, creating space for conversation, connection, and cultural exchange.
Afterward, Mr. Yadav and Ms. Sachdeva paid a courtesy visit to the University President and key university officials, where they were formally introduced and warmly received, marking the official start of their academic engagement at the university.
Designed for depth and experience, the one-month program emphasizes laboratory work, applied forensic techniques, and close mentorship under seasoned faculty practitioners. Through initiatives like this, CCJEF continues to build meaningful international partnerships while nurturing professional growth, technical skill, and cross-cultural understanding among future forensic scientists.
By hosting SGTU exchange students, CCJEF further strengthens its position as a leading regional hub for forensic science training and international academic engagement.
