SNAMS forges partnership with FiND Network

The Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network (FiND Network) formalizes its partnership with Holy Angel University - School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (HAU-SNAMS) through the signing of a memorandum of understanding on February 28, 2022. The two organizations agree to cooperate on several areas that focus on professional nursing development, educational innovation, and research among nurse educators, nurse clinicians, and graduate students.

The virtual signing of the memorandum of understanding is attended by HAU officials led by Mr. Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdes, OIC-President, and Ms. Edna Marriza C. Santos, Assistant Academic Vice President. Likewise, Prof. Al D. Biag, EdD, RN (SNAMS Dean), Asst. Prof. Noriel P. Calaguas, MSHSA, RN, ACRN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Chair), and several nursing faculty members witnessed the event. Representing the FiND Network are Prof. Violeta Lopez, Ph.D., RN, President; Prof. Cindy Leigh, Ph.D., RN, FACN, Director for Professional Development; Prof. Jerome Babate, Executive Director and a few members of the advisory board.

The FiND Network is a professional organization of Filipino nurses who live and work outside the Philippines. The network is committed to harnessing the strength of Filipino nurses abroad. They have affiliate organizations in North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. The leadership and network of FiND are full of Filipino nursing professionals of international renown. Their collective experience in nursing education, nursing management, and administration, and research would greatly enrich our department’s efforts to develop locally responsive and globally competitive nurses.
