CCJEF inks MoU with CHR
College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics

The College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) inked a memorandum of understanding with the Commission on Human Rights last October 5, 2022. Dean Niño M. Kabiling initially initiated the collaboration. During the signing, he extended his heartfelt gratitude and a warm welcome to the HAU administrators and CHR officers.
Attendees included Mr. Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdes, OIC – President; Dr. Al D. Biag, OIC Vice President for Academic Affairs, CCJEF Dean; Dr. Niño M. Kabiling, Program Coordinator, Criminology; Mr. Emanuel C. Manahan, and the faculty and staff of the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics. On the part of the CHR, the office was represented by its Regional Director, Atty. Lee D. Valmonte and other regional staff.
Mr. Manahan presented the provisions of the MoU, focusing specifically on webinars, seminars, training, and workshops; research; academic knowledge sharing; curriculum and program development; practicum; and community outreach initiatives.
Valdes appreciated both parties for their efforts in human rights education. While Atty. Valmonte emphasized the significance of this collaboration to their office.
The MOU is a commitment to the capacity-building and establishment of training programs that enable criminology and forensic science students to strengthen their abilities and develop and maintain an effective human rights education that can be passed on to society.
