SEd student bags spot in AYLC 2021

Abelardo Cortez Jr., a third-year college student from the School of Education secures a slot in the Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC 2021) which is set to happen virtually from June 30 to July 31, 2021 via Zoom. This announcement was recently sent by the AYLC 2021 secretariat to HAU's Office of Student Affairs.
Cortez was one of the three Angelite student leaders nominated to join the Congress. Participants of AYLC were selected based on their leadership track record, its strong positive impact, and their dedicated involvement in the service of others, their organizations, schools and communities from the 167 student leaders who, from an initial batch of more than 665 applicants from top colleges and universities nationwide, qualified and underwent the final phase of the selection process, the Panel Interviews conducted by the executives of the Ayala Group of Companies.
The AYLC is a leadership summit that brings together 80 of the most promising college and university student leaders from all over the Philippines to learn effective, principled leadership. The Congress features outstanding Filipino leaders who share their personal journeys and leadership perspectives with the participants.
