To celebrate the National Book Week (November 24-30, 2009) the Library Department has lined up some activities and interested parties may register at the Office of the Library Director:
On-the-Spot Essay Writing Contest
Mechanics:
- Interested participants should register at the Office of the Library Director on/before November 24, 2009
- There should only be one official representative for each College
- Registration is on a first come, first served basis
- Subject of the essay will be the National Book Week theme
- Medium to be used is English
- The essay must not exceed 150 words but not less than 100 words
- Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

- Members of the Angelite and different College publications are disqualified from the contest
- Winning entries will be displayed in the Library Information Board and the Library website
- Announcement of Winners will be on December 3, 2009
Amnesty Week
This is meant to accept overdue books within the duration of the National Book Week ( November 24-27, 2009) without being penalized regardless of how long the book was overdue or how much the borrower should have to pay.
Search for the Top Library Users ( Print and Non-print Resources) for the month of November
Top Borrowers for the Month of November (Faculty & Student Category) Lucky winners will be judged according to the following:
- Borrower/ User with the most number of books borrowed or number of times he/she used the e-resources ( e-books and e-journals)
- Lucky winners will be based on the utilization made at the Multimedia Section and Internet Workstation of the Library only
- Winners will be announced on December 3, 2009
