    1. The Library









      The Grade School Library is located at CB-101. Its objectives are to enrich and support the academic programs of the school; to train pupils in the proper use of the library and its resources; and to assist the pupils in their choice of reading materials.

      Monday - Friday 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
      Saturday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM






    4. Library Rules and Regulations









      1. The ID card will be used in borrowing books and other materials.
      2. SILENCE must be observed at all times. The library is a place only for silent reading, study and research. Pupils who make unnecessary noise in the library will be subjected to disciplinary measures.
      3. Return borrowed books on time.
      4. Keep things in order:
        • Chairs should be pushed back against the table so that it won’t block the movement of others.
        • Books/Magazines & other reading materials must be returned properly on the shelves after reading or browsing them.
      5. Eating, littering, loitering, playing, vandalizing, stealing and sleeping are not allowed in the library.
      6. No group discussion, talking aloud, consultation, singing and other activities that disturb other library users/customers.
      7. Courtesy towards fellow pupils and the library staff should be exercised at all times.
      8. Library users must use the depository counter for bags, folders and other things that cannot be brought inside the library.
      9. All newspapers, magazines and other periodicals must be read only in the library.
      10. All general reference books must be read inside the library.
      11. Pupils with overdue books in the library will not be allowed to borrow unless this will be settled.
      12. Lost book must be reported immediately to the librarian. A lost book must be paid according to its current amount or must be replaced with exactly the same title or a subject that is related.

    5. GUIDELINES IN THE USE OF THE MULTIMEDIA /CD-ROM STATION









      1. Users are not allowed to surf pornographic sites, play games, do word processing and nobody is allowed to download Chat Client Software.
      2. Users should surrender/submit their Identification Card upon entering.
      3. Usage is on a First-come, First-served basis.
      4. Students can use the room for a maximum of two (2) hours per use.
      5. Faculty and other employees of the school also have access if there are available computers to use. Students are in the priority list.
      6. Downloading of information from the Internet and copying from the CD-ROMs are allowed. Only diskettes will be allowed for downloading. Big files can be sent through personal e-mails.
      7. Users should proceed to their assigned workstations. Companions are not allowed. Violators will be asked to leave the room immediately.
      8. Any student found engaging in any of these activities shall be charged as provision of the student’s handbook:
        • viewing pornographic pictures
        • tampering of information in the computers
        • theft and mishandling or abuse of equipment and materials.
      9. The following are strictly prohibited in the Multimedia rooms:
        • eating, drinking, smoking
        • any form of discussion
      10. Always ask the assistance of the designated personnel if you have any problem on using any of the services the Multimedia Section offers.
