The organization started midway march of 2008. It was first called Holy Angel University Programmers or simply called HAUP (how-pee). Founded by Karl Manalastas, Julius TaƱedo, and Ivan-Lee Zamora, it was aimed at helping other IT students with their programming subjects. In line with this, an online forum was constructed to make interaction with other students easy.
Then came year 2009, it was decided that the group be made an official organization at Holy Angel University. The group needed a suitable name and thus, Pseudocode was established. But why Pseudocode?
Pseudocodes or false codes are used to guide construction of a program's logic or flow. And that's what the organization does; to guide IT students with their studies. We are not professionals, nor experts. But we do our best to help.
The organization aims to help IT students with their studies, develop responsible leadership within the students, unify the members of the College of Information and Communications Technology community towards desirable educational, spiritual and social development and to advance student rights and responsibilities.
