Objective
The Registrar's Office enforces government and school policies regarding admission requirements, enrolment, student load, subject sequence, student promotion and graduation.
Registration
Registration is conducted on specific dates assigned to each curriculum year.
The Finance Office will not allow the enrolment of any student who has not cleared all of his outstanding accounts with the University.
A student is not considered enrolled unless he has paid his first installment and has surrendered to the Registrar's Office the Registrar's copy of his registration form.
Student Load
The maximum load varies depending on the unit requirements prescribed by the curriculum in the different programs. No student may carry a load exceeding what is prescribed in the curriculum without the permission form the Registrar.
Graduating students, however, may be allowed to have a maximum overload of six(6) units.
Curricula
The curricula are structured into three parts: general education courses, major requirements and professional studies and major enrichment courses or electives.
Subject Sequence
A student who fails in a pre-requiste subject must repeat and pass the subject before he can be allowed to proceed to the next subject.
Pre-requisite subjects are those which must be completed to qualify the student for enrolment in subsequent subjects. Services are not allowed to take advanced subjects without first finishing the pre-requisite courses; if they do so, the advanced subject shall not be credited to them regardless of their performance in it.
Withdrawal from the University
Services seeking honorable dismissal from the University must observed the following procedures:
- Secure and fill out an application form for honorable dismissa; from the Registrar's Office.
- Obtain clearance from all units indicated in the clearance form.
- Pay at the Finance Office all the charges for preparation and transmittal of transcript of records to the school where the student will enroll.
- Submit duly accomplished clearance form, required documentary stamps, 2x2 picture and official receipt at the Registrar's Office.
- Claim Certificate of Transfer and other related documents.
Release of School Credentials
Request forms for release of school credentials are available at the Registrar's Office.
The school credentials which may be requested are:
- Transcript of Records
- Form 137
- Certified True Copy of Grades
- Certification of Graduation
- Certification of Enrolment
- Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and Diploma
- Certified True Copy of Special Orders for Graduates
- Permit to Cross Enroll
- Diploma
- Transfer Credentials
- a. The issuance of the Transfer Credentials to a student is considered as a Formal Separation from the University and re-admission therefore, shall be in accordance with existing policies.
- b. Application for the release fo the Official Transcript of Records for employment and other purposes must be files two (2) weeks before the date of issue.
- c. Official Transcript of Records will be release provided admission credentials such as Form 137 of Original Copy of Transcript of Records are on file with Registrar's Office. The corresponding fees and the required documentary stamps, and picture must be submitter. For purposes of transfering to another school, release of the aforecited documents will be from the originating to the recieving school.
Graduation
Student will be recommended for graduation after he/she has compiled with add academic and other requirments prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the University. Graduating students are advised to check their names from the list of candidates issued by the Registrar's Office.
Requirements
- He should have met the residence period requirements of the University, that is, he must have registered for atlease four full semester of two years.
- He should be cleared of all financial and property obligations with the University and other requirements of his College.
