Registration
Registration is conducted on specific dates assigned to each curriculum year.
The Finance Office will not allow the enrolment of any student who has not cleared all of his outstanding accounts with the University.
A student is not considered officially enrolled unless he has paid the first installment and has surrendered to the Registrar’s Office his registration form. Failure on the part of the student to surrender his registration from will mean that he has waived his right fro a refund for payment made even if he drops out of the University right after the registration period. Such a failure may result in the non-inclusion of the student’s name in the official list of enrolled students.
Changes in Schedule/Subject Load
After the registration period, a student may apply for changes in his/her schedule/subject load within a prescribed period by filing the required form from the Dean’s Office for any of the following:
- if the subject originally enrolled is dissolved
- if the pre-requisite subject is not yet taken
- if the student has conflict in schedules
- if request to add/drop courses is approved
The grant of these requests is subject to the approval of the College Dean.
A change in registration data within the first week of the semester does not affect the student’s academic record.
The date of filing the application for withdrawal/dropping is considered, in all cases, the date of actual withdrawal for both academic consideration and refund purposes.
Cross Enrollment
In general, a student may be allowed to cross-enroll in one or more subjects in any college or university upon the approval of the Dean. The written permission shall be the basis of a cross-enrollment permit to be issued by the Registrar. Cross-enrollment will only be allowed if the subjects/s is/are needed for graduation and is/are not offered in the University during the semester or term.
Leave of Absence
Students who will not enroll the following semester must apply for a leave of absence at the Registrar’s Office. The application must be filed before the enrollment period of the following semester. The Leave of Absence is allowed only for one semester.
Student ID Card
Each new student is issued an ID card, which is a required identification for entry to the campus and for the use of school services and facilities. The ID card must be worn by students at all times. It is absolutely non-transferable and must be surrendered to proper authorities upon dropping from the University. Replacement for lost ID’s should be processed through the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs.
