Institute for Faculty Development (IFD)

The Institute for Faculty Development (IFD) is an academic support unit that focuses on teacher development on the personal and professional levels. Our mission is to foster growth of faculty to their maximum potential in the areas of teaching, research and community service.

To realize this mission, the Institute for Faculty Development has designed a program of professional development. It includes three components:

• In-Service Education and Training Program (INSET) for new teachers
• Professional Enhancement Program for experienced teachers
• Graduate/Post-Graduate Studies Assistance Program
