INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH
  • Academe-industry matching studies: studies on the matching, both current and future, of HAU alumni’s knowledge, skills, abilities and values with the demands and requirements of industries (All Colleges)

    These are aligned with the goals of “relevance and responsiveness” in the CHED Long-term Higher Education Development Plan, 2001-2010. Results and findings may be used for the further improvement of curricular programs via the elimination of possible gaps or mismatch.

  • Demand-supply studies in the city, provincial, regional and national professional markets (All Colleges, Graduate School )

    These are likewise aligned with the goals of “relevance and responsiveness” in the CHED Long-term Higher Education Development Plan, 2001-2010. Results and findings may be used as inputs to the preparation of an institutional marketing plan.

  • Benchmarking and comparative studies of program policies and standards among Philippine and foreign educational systems (All Colleges, Academic Affairs Office)

    These are aligned with the goals of “quality and excellence” in the CHED Long-term Higher Education Development Plan, 2001-2010. Results and findings may be used as inputs in the thrust towards internationalization of curricular programs.

  • Demographic and socio-economic profiling of current and prospective students: Basis for institutional marketing (All Colleges, Admissions Office, ITSS)

    This is aligned with the goals of “access and equity, relevance and responsiveness” in the CHED Long-term Higher Education Development Plan, 2001-2010. Results and findings may be used as inputs in the formulation of institutional marketing strategies as to program (product) design, fees (pricing), delivery (place) and communications (promotions).

  • Evaluation studies on institutional systems and procedures (All Offices)

    These are case studies/applied researches focused on the organizational and work systems and procedures at Holy Angel University, itself. Objective is to improve departmental and/or university-wide efficiency and effectiveness via the application of the multidisciplinary knowledge pool available at the HAU community. Results and findings may serve as inputs to University management.
