Sister Josefina Nepomuceno created the Research Office in SY 1985-1986 as the Center for Research, Measurement and Evaluation to articulate the University’s thrust towards research
It had metamorphosed from its academic support function into a more institutional breadth beginning with the consolidation of the planning function in the University Research and Planning Office.
Beginning this SY 2009-2010, the office has further been reconstituted into the Institutional Planning, Research and Publications Office.
