The Office of the Community Extension Services (OCES)
The Office of the Community Extension (OCES) is Holy Angel University’s (HAU) service arm to contribute in improving the lives of marginalized sectors and underserved communities. It is tasked to co- create opportunities with students, employees and other stakeholders in pursuing semi-developmental to developmental programs to its partner sectors and communities. It consolidates and integrates different community service initiatives in collaboration with the University departments and external linkages.
Its programs cover education, community-based programs, networking and building partnerships for program complementation, livelihood and lifelong learning, preventive and promotive health care support, outreach and special projects. The key programs are also complemented by extension services of other University sectors and units in the area of scholarships, catechetical training and values formation, advocacy on culture, health, and other social concerns.
