- CARING FOR THE SICK
The University Chaplain’s visit to the sick members of the HAU community is subject to the following guidelines:
- A sick employee can avail of this service
- This service is extended to the immediate family of an employee -- parents and children – and also to the brothers/sisters of a single employee.
- This should be coordinated first with the parish priest of the employee.
- MASS FOR THE DEAD
Holy Mass can be celebrated at the Memorial Chapel or Parish Church during the wake of a dead employee or the death of an immediate family member (parents and children) or the dead brothers and sisters of a single employee.
This should be coordinated first with the parish priest of the employee.
- FIRST FRIDAY MASS PARTICIPATION
Office Supervisors will identify the office employee/s to participate in the First Friday University mass.
- PRAYER PETITIONS
CMO Uses Prayer Petition Forms for those who wish to pray for:
- Thanksgiving
- Special Intentions
- Eternal Repose of Souls
Accomplished forms should be dropped into the Prayer Petition Box situated at the University Chapel or at the CMO. There is no financial obligation for this service. The prayer petition forms are available at the CMO and are also distributed to all offices.
- SACRAMENTAL BLESSINGS
Sacred objects to be blessed can be forwarded to the CMO for the sacramental Blessing by the University Chaplain. These sacred objects include: rosaries, sacred images and the like.
- ANGELUS
All offices are encouraged to observe the 12:00 noon and 6:00 P.M. Angelus by being SILENT and joining the community in prayer.
- SPIRITUAL COUNSELLING
HAU students and personnel can seek spiritual counseling with the University Chaplain. Just secure an appointment with the CMO.
- SACRAMENTAL BLESSING OF CARS, BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS, HOUSES
A service available only to HAU employees, this requires setting an appointment with CMO.
